These are 100% premium, Arabica beans (Tipica 80%, Caturra 20%). These beans were shade-grown in the higher altitudes of the Caranavi region of Bolivia, depulped and washed using pure Andes glacier-melt water, sun-dried on wooden table tops and hand selected by "Palliris" (Aymara Indian women food graders). These are not "commodity coffee" beans. These coffee beans have also been certified by the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center as "Bird-Friendly". USDA Certified Organic. 1 lb. Bag.
Our coffee will have a "Roasting Date" where our roaster certifies when your coffee was actually roasted and bagged. For best results, we recommend that you use the coffee within 6 months of the roasting date and within 30 days after opening.
